  A SPECIAL WELCOME TO WAIKATO DISTRICT COUNCIL  
  A special "Welcome aboard!" this month goes out to Waikato District Council (WDC) this month as the newest members of the CS-VUE online community.

The consent data has been imported and now Abhishek is currently working with WDC to create a project plan for certified implementation.

We look forward to getting them up and running live with CS-VUE in the very near future.

  BY THE NUMBERS - OVER 20,000 CONSENTS ENTERED!  
  CS-VUE is pleased to announce that we have entered over 20,000 permit records on behalf of our clients.

This has been a real mix of consents, permits, contracts, leases, licenses and management plans. 

We would like to thank our customers for all their support and we look forward to the next 20,000!

  BY THE NUMBERS - $37,500 FINE FOR TAHARUA FARM  
  The farm that employed the Dairy Manager of the Year has been convicted with a record environmental fine.
 
A record fine has been handed down by the Environment Court in Napier today to the Crafar Group dairy operation, Taharua Farm, for breaching its resource consent. Taharua Farm has been fined $37,500 after Hawke's Bay Regional Council laid charges for the discharge of dairy effluent that was well over the resource consent conditions.

This is the largest fine in New Zealand for a single dairy effluent charge.

  BY THE NUMBERS - 3 PARTIES PROSECUTED BY ENVIRONMENT WAIKATO  
  Environment Waikato is prosecuting three parties over alleged illegal works in the Arapae Wetland area south of Te Kuiti.

The three parties - who cannot be identified at this stage due to the forthcoming court proceedings - are due to appear in the Te Kuiti district court on Thursday 28 August.

  BY THE NUMBERS - HAWKE'S BAY DAIRIES LTD FINED $25,000  
  Hawke's Bay Dairies Ltd received a $2,500 fine for a breach of their resource consent in the Environment Court today, following action brought by Hawke's Bay Regional Council.

  BY THE NUMBERS - 2 WEEKS TO CLEAN UP YOUR ACT IN RODNEY!  
  Auckland Regional Council's pollution response officers will be paying a surprise visit to some Rodney commercial and industrial premises during the next two weeks. Fourteen staff from the ARC will be targeting an industrial area within the district during the day-long operation.
