The first edition of the new CS-VUE Dashboard, designed to bring further key information and performance indicators to the fingertips of the CS-VUE client base, will be launched this Friday 29th June. Enclosed in one window, the CS-VUE Dashboard provides an instant snapshot of the key monitoring information you hold within CS-VUE. Displayed to screen in easy to view graphical and table formats are total consent numbers, total consents non compliant vs compliant, breakdowns of compliance by activity type, by consent manager, and phase, as well as those consents expiring in the next 12 months. CS-VUE News will keep you up to date with further developments as they occur as more and more functionality is added to the Dashboard and other key areas within CS-VUE.

Also added to CS-VUE is assistance at the login screen should one forget their password. By clicking on the link “Forgot Password” you will be prompted for your user name and then emailed a link to Enter and Confirm a new password, which will allow you access to the system. The new password cannot be less than 8 characters. “Forgot User Name” will require you to enter in your email address and upon confirming the address the system will generate an email to your Inbox with your User Name.

Another small enhancement to CS-VUE within the BROWSE window has been the repositioning of the Search Criteria Boxes and Pick Lists. Upon accessing the further Search options available to you the filter fields and wild card search boxes now appear in a more column based format, allowing for easier navigation and drill down within the system.

The CS-VUE website has been upgraded with a new modern and professional look and feel. A more efficient approach to accessing information provides greater ease of use in line with our current marketing and branding strategies. Feel free to check out the updated CS-VUE website

The largest singular fine in the history of the RMA to the end of December 2005 was an $80,000 fine for breaches of a resource consent for air discharge. This surpassed the previous highest singular fine of $55,000 in 2003.

Commenting on the record $80,000 fine for an offence of this nature, the chairman of Environment Waikato's Regulatory Committee said the fine sends a clear message that breaches of consent conditions are viewed very seriously by the courts.

A handy feature in CS-VUE within the Projects area is the ability to View All Conditions in relation to a project, across multiple consents, by phase. In the Projects page, once you have selected the project you are working on, just click the hyper link “View All Conditions” and a list of all the conditions by phase is displayed to screen. By selected view all from the Page Rows drop down box a quick and easy synopsis of what is required in each phase of a project can be viewed.
